{Y} photography's focus is not only on capturing moments,

but also creating a personal and fun experience throughout the process.

My approach is casual and never rushed. We will spend 30-60 minutes shooting, using the first few minutes to warm up and settle in. Especially important with little ones, to allow them to feel comfortable. I encourage them to move about and explore, it creates the most real images that show their personality!

Expect to have fun and be playful! The goal is for you to relax and enjoy each other as a family, while I snap away. My style consists mostly lifestyle, with prompt direction, but will create traditional poses for that perfect family portrait. My focus is to capture families just as they are, perfect in their own authentic way. I will work with your kids to get a natural smile; creating an environment where they can be themselves. The silly, crazy or sweet! I love it all!

 

I will work with you every step of the way... from booking your session, to what to wear, where to shoot, and all the way through choosing print products for your home. I am happy to walk around your home and help to plan your print pieces. Placing an order can be overwhelming, why I'm here to help through the entire process.
